22 Jun 3 EASY STEPS TO KEEP KIDS LICE FREE AT SUMMER CAMP
Summer camps are what most kids look forward to all school year, most parents too. Sending your child off to camp you are looking forward to hearing stories about the lake, the cabin and your kids returning home with new friends.
However, we hope they are real people friends and not hair borne pest kind of friends. Yep, I mean lice! Kids returning home from camp are not looking forward to having their head picked through or hair pulled with a lice comb. Here are some helpful tips to keep your child’s hair pest free.
- TIE IT UP!
When you send your child off to camp make sure you send them with enough hair ties to have a new updo for each day of camp. If all the campers have their hair tied up there will be a smaller chance of the campers coming home with new non-human friends aka LICE!
- SPRAY IT DOWN!
Sending your campers off to camp you should always send them with a lice repellent spray. That way your happy camper can spray their own hair and their friends too! Make sure to read the ingredients when choosing a lice repellent spray. Look for sprays that are non-toxic, no harsh chemicals and paraben free.
- NO SHARING!
Maybe the most important tip of all. When sending your son or daughter off to camp make sure they know not to share. Meaning pillowcases, hair brushes, head bands, hair ties, anything that touches the hair shouldn’t be shared.
Hopefully these tips were helpful and your kids return home from camp lice free and HAPPY!
Remember if you care don’t share… Keep KLEEN HAIR!
